Our mission at Icons is to give our customers the experience of buying boutique fine jewellery at a fraction of its usual cost. We deliver on this by manufacturing every component of our system out of solid 9-ct gold.

Whilst we do offer higher carat gold types, It is our belief that 9-carat offers the best trade-off between value, durability & precious metal content. This is especially given due to the fact that our system is designed to be used on a daily basis.

The term 9-carat designates the percentage of gold used in the alloy composition, with 24-carat being 100-percent pure gold. Therefore, the total percentage of pure gold in the standard ICONS range is 37.5% (or 9-carat divided by 24-carat).

By not filling or plating, we believe that customers of Icons are receiving pieces that will last them a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.

Another important factor to note is that the composition of our alloys is completely nickel-free.
